Lauren is a lifetime Miami resident who graduated from Florida International University with a degree in Criminal Justice and Pre Law. Following her graduation, Lauren traveled upstate to attend the University of Florida, Levin College of Law to pursue her J.D. During her time there, Lauren was an Executive Articles Editor for the Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy, as well as a member of the Cuban American Bar Association.
As a Certified Legal Intern at the Virgil Hawkins Civil Clinic on UF’s campus, Lauren handled her own case load of juvenile-interests cases where she represented clients in adoptions, placements, and delinquency. After graduating cum laude from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, Lauren returned to Miami where she was given the opportunity to intern with the Honorable Alberto Milian in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.
Lauren began at Mase Seitz Briggs in 2020 and has since worked on cruise line litigation and a variety of maritime claims.
