Born in St. Martin, but raised in Miami, Florida, Charlotte has always felt a strong connection to the maritime community. She’s often lived surrounded by ocean water and, with her father, is an avid boater.
Charlotte attended the University of Florida (Go Gators!) where in 2019 she received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Criminology, with minors in Communication Studies and Business Administration. After graduating, Charlotte ventured out-of-state to attend Wake Forest University School of Law. At Wake Law, she was on the executive boards of the Latinx Law Student Association, Women in Law organization and Journal of Law & Policy.
During her second summer of law school, Charlotte interned as a Law Clerk with Mase Seitz Briggs and assisted on sex assault, slip-and-fall, and other personal injury cases. After graduating Wake Law in 2022, Charlotte joined the firm as an Associate. She now practices civil litigation and has handled cases in both state and federal court with experience in complex maritime injury, wrongful death, overboard incidents, sexual and physical assaults, liability for alcohol service cases, negligent security, and medical malpractice.
In her free time, Charlotte enjoys spending time with her Golden Retriever, Bear, reading, and travelling. Charlotte is fluent in Italian and Spanish.
