Alyssa Campa is an associate attorney at Mase Seitz Briggs. Her practice is civil litigation, focusing on maritime law and cruise line defense.
Alyssa received her Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Management from the University of Florida, with minors in History and Event Management. As a Miami native, she returned home to attend law school and earned her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law. During law school, she served as a senior staff member of the FIU Law Review and Director of Public Relations for the FIU Board of Appellate Advocates (FIU Moot Court). She competed in national competitions on behalf of both FIU Moot Court and FIU Trial Team and was recognized as a Florida Chapters American Board of Trial Advocates Scholarship Recipient. During her second summer of law school, Alyssa worked as a Law Clerk with Mase Seitz Briggs.
Prior to joining Mase, Alyssa participated in the Judicial Internship Academy with Judge Beth Bloom of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and completed a judicial externship with Presiding Judge Samuel Feng at the San Francisco County Superior Court, gaining valuable exposure to both federal and state court practice. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys music, visiting national parks, and spending time with her family.
Blue Martini failed to properly check his identification and verify his age, and served him copious amounts of alcohol. After leaving the bar and while walking back to his dorm intoxicated, he was hit by a car while attempting to cross a street in the wee hours of the morning, suffering a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
The Southwest Florida Area Local-American Post Workers’ Union in Fort Myers, Florida was not given work they were promised and was owed back-pay. The United States Postal Service refused to pay and we brought a suit on behalf of the union.
A man engaged in non-consensual sexual relations with another man and his girlfriend. Unbeknownst to our client, the man had a sexually transmitted disease, which our client contracted.
