Paralegal Certificate, 2025
Born to a Cuban and Bolivian family and raised in Nokesville, Virginia, Isabela Silva is a paralegal at Mase Seitz Briggs and is fluent in both English and Spanish. At 18, Isabela moved to Miami, where she began her career in the legal field while pursuing her education. She earned her Associate of Arts in Psychology from Miami Dade College in 2022 and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University in 2024. Building on her academic foundation and her experience in the field, she went on to earn her Paralegal Certificate from the University of Miami in June 2025.
Isabela began her legal career at a small law firm, working directly with the firm’s attorney on personal injury and first-party property cases. Over three years in that role, she gained broad, hands-on experience across all phases of a case. She then moved to a larger, established law firm, where she worked in the first-party property department and further developed her skills in a high-volume, sophisticated practice.
Isabela now brings that experience to the team at Mase Seitz Briggs, where she supports the firm’s attorneys in handling their cases. Her background in psychology gives her a strong understanding of people, an asset in her work with clients and colleagues alike.
In her free time, Isabela enjoys working out, taking Pilates classes, and spending time with her seven dogs, often taking them on walks around Miami.
