Claire is an associate attorney at Mase Seitz Briggs, with a focus on civil litigation in the context of maritime disputes. Before joining Mase Seitz Briggs, Claire practiced real estate law, where she handled a broad range of transactional matters, including due diligence, title examinations, contract drafting and negotiation, financing documents, and real estate closings. She regularly coordinated with clients, lenders, title companies, brokers, and opposing counsel and managed transactions from initial review through closing. This experience developed her attention to detail, ability to manage complex matters, and understanding of how to effectively communicate with clients and other professionals.
Claire also gained valuable litigation and appellate experience early in her legal career. As a law clerk, she worked on complex mass tort matters involving pharmaceutical, environmental, and product liability claims, conducting legal research and case analysis, reviewing evidence, and assisting with case development. She also served as a law clerk for Judge Melanie May of Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal, where she analyzed appellate briefs and trial court records, conducted legal research, drafted bench memoranda, and observed oral arguments.
Claire earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in 2025, graduating in the top five percent of her class. While in law school, she was a member of the NSU Trial Association, where she discovered her passion for litigation and developed her advocacy skills.
Before attending law school, Claire earned a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy, with a minor in Performance Science. Her background in real estate development provides her with a unique perspective that complements her legal practice.
In her free time, Claire enjoys playing volleyball, spending time at the beach, traveling abroad, trying new foods, reading about health and fitness, and spending time with family and friends.
