Jeffrey A. Caisse Jr. (Jeff) has experience handling legal matters covering many different practice areas, including admiralty, maritime, white-collar criminal, premises liability, sexual assault, and liquor liability. He is an experienced attorney, dedicated to achieving the best possible results for his clients, no matter where a case may take him. After receiving his bachelor’s degree, with honors, from the University of Florida, Caisse went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law. During his time in law school, he was a member of both the Florida Moot Court Team and the Florida Journal of Law & Public Policy.
Jeff is a shareholder at Mase Seitz Briggs and has been with the firm since 2018. He brings over six years’ experience resolving complex matters for a variety of clients. He is a member of the Florida Bar. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the Miami Dade Bar Association.
Blue Martini failed to properly check his identification and verify his age, and served him copious amounts of alcohol. After leaving the bar and while walking back to his dorm intoxicated, he was hit by a car while attempting to cross a street in the wee hours of the morning, suffering a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
The Southwest Florida Area Local-American Post Workers’ Union in Fort Myers, Florida was not given work they were promised and was owed back-pay. The United States Postal Service refused to pay and we brought a suit on behalf of the union.
A man engaged in non-consensual sexual relations with another man and his girlfriend. Unbeknownst to our client, the man had a sexually transmitted disease, which our client contracted. We brought a claim for failing to disclose his medical condition and obtained a confidential pre-suit multimillion dollar settlement of over $4,000,000.
