A Jacksonville woman has died after sustaining injuries in a jet ski accident that occurred on Pablo Creek. Reporting by First Coast News indicates that the 37-year-old woman was a passenger on a Bombardier jet ski when the driver attempted to go underneath the low-lying San Pablo Road bridge on the Intercoastal waterway.
The driver ducked to avoid being hit by the bridge, but the young woman did not. The impact caused her to be thrown from the PWC. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
