Early one morning while riding his bicycle across the Rickenbacker Causeway bridge on Key Biscayne as part of his regular exercise routine, our client was hit by a car. He suffered orthopedic injuries to his elbow and pelvis and an inguinal hernia. The owner of the car and driver did not have sufficient insurance and so we brought a claim under our client’s uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. His insurer paid him $285,000.
