Laurence M. Krutchik is an associate at Mase, Mebane & Briggs practicing in the areas of admiralty and maritime defense and personal injury. Mr. Krutchik received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business Administration from Northeastern University (2004). He earned his Juris Doctorate degree (2009) from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. During law school Mr. Krutchik served as the Managing Technical Editor on the Editorial Board of the Nova Law Review. He also served as a research assistant to Professor Ronald Brown researching and analyzing developments in property laws, which were discussed in the American Bar Association’s Probate and Property Magazine. Additionally, he received the High Grade Award in Real Estate Transactions. Mr. Krutchik also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Barry S. Seltzer of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.

Prior to joining Mase Mebane , Mr. Krutchik worked for a firm in Coral Gables primarily defending personal injury and death claims against airlines, aircraft and other manufacturers aircraft operators, and a global commercial carrier.

Mr. Krutchik serves as the Assistant Newsletter Editor on the Defense Research Institute – Aerospace Law Committee.  He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.  In 2016 and 2017, Mr. Krutchik was selected to the Florida Rising Stars List by Super Lawyers, a distinction received by only 2.5% of all Florida attorneys.
